Individual Therapy

WHAT WE PROVIDE

Our popular individual programs

Our one-on-one therapy sessions are tailored to your child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. Guided by experienced therapists, we use play-based and evidence-based strategies to build skills in communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and daily living. With ongoing collaboration and progress updates, families stay involved every step of the way.

PLAY-BASED, CHILD-CENTRED INTERVENTION

When your child begins services at KidsConnecting, you’ll work directly with me — Stacey Baskind, Founder and Clinical Director. I’m certified in the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), PEERS, DIR/Floortime, and PLAY Project. Drawing from these child-centered, play-based models, I create a program tailored to your child’s unique strengths, interests, and personality. Your involvement is essential. We encourage parents to actively participate in sessions and provide input into their child’s program plan, ensuring therapy is meaningful and effective.

At KidsConnecting, therapy feels like play. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, we foster connection, communication, and growth. You, your child and I are active play partners — sharing ideas, taking turns, and enjoying activities together. Each session is carefully prepared with developmentally appropriate materials selected to keep your child motivated, engaged, and progressing toward their goals. We believe children learn best when they feel safe, happy, accepted and connected — and everything we do is built around that philosophy.

Parent Support & Coaching

As a parent, I understand both the joys and challenges of raising a child, and I know these can feel even more profound for families of neurodivergent children.

I strongly believe in the value of parent coaching as part of any therapeutic program. Parents and caregivers are the most invested in their child’s development and play a crucial role in supporting progress. I encourage parents, grandparents, and other caregivers to attend sessions so I can model strategies in real time and provide live, practical guidance while they interact and play with their child.
