Why Choose Kids Connecting?
Our Model of Care
At KidsConnecting, we pride ourselves on offering a truly personalized and intimate experience for young autistic and neurodivergent children. Our clinic is designed to feel relaxed and homelike, creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for children and families.
Parents
PARENTS play an essential role in every child’s therapy journey. We welcome and encourage your involvement. Parent coaching is a key part of what we do
Play
PLAY is at the heart of your child’s therapy at KidsConnecting. We believe children learn best through play, especially with a responsive, engaging, and trusted adult.
Peers
PEERS and group learning are also vital parts of our services. We offer small, carefully designed groups for autistic and neurodivergent children aged two to eight.
WHO WE ARE
About Kids Connecting
Unlike larger clinics, you’ll work directly with our Founder and Clinical Director, Stacey Baskind, ensuring your child receives the highest quality care.
At KidsConnecting, we provide expert, evidence-based therapy from highly qualified professionals who care deeply about each child’s growth and well-being.
We understand the need for flexibility. Most clients participate in one or two hours of individual therapy/parent coaching, plus a two-hour group each week — providing meaningful support without overwhelming your family’s schedule. At KidsConnecting, we believe that children thrive when they feel happy, safe, respected, and connected — and everything we do is built to make that happen.

You’ll have consistent communication, a personalized plan tailored to your child’s needs, and the reassurance that an experienced clinician is closely involved in supporting your child’s growth and success.

SATISFIED REVIEWS
What our clients have to say
Stacey has been part of our lives since my autistic child was first diagnosed at 2 years old. I have since referred all my friends with autistic kids to her. She has coached me how to communicate and connect with our non-speaking child. Kind, patient, knowledgeable and experienced. Most importantly, she sees my daughter as a child to love and nurture- not a diagnosis to fix. So many firsts with Stacey: first words, first steps, first friends. My child feels safe and loved with her, which is the only way children can truly learn. I would rate her 500000 stars if I could. ❤️
My son was diagnosed with severe autism at 18 months, and every place I called for ABA therapy had long waiting lists. I remember calling our doctor in tears, asking for help, and she gave me KidsConnecting number. Stacey has truly been the best thing that has ever happened to our family. Stacey started seeing us the very next week, three times a week. I struggled with everyday tasks like going to the supermarket with him, so Stacey suggested and even accompanied me for sessions while we shopped, giving me strategies in real life. She also joined me in toddler time to observe his interactions with other kids. She supported me through every step, meeting every need we had.
Stacey and her team were incredible with my three year old daughter. We were referred to Stacey for group classes shortly after our daughter was assessed to have ASD. Just a few months later, we can already see great improvement in a wide range of social skills with and around other kids and adults. Stacey and her team really tailored the way they worked with our daughter based on her individual needs and it was truly wonderful.
I wanted to take the time to say thank you Stacey @kidsconnecting. I can’t thank you enough for all your amazing work this past year with Mia. Last year when I met you, I was completely lost in the parenting world. When Mia met you, she couldn’t tolerate a single drop of water on her or being dirty. She wanted to live in a perfect world amongst other things. Today, she tolerates living in an imperfect world and tells me that I have to be flexible. You have taught her amazing life skills. Thank you for being part of our school meetings and advocating for our kid. Thank you for making yourself available and jumping into zoom calls when it is needed it. We are forever grateful for all your hard work with our family. You have changed my life and our lives completely. Thank you for being such an important piece to our lives. Today, I embrace every single tantrum thanks to you ❤️
